Job Description

Acting head of business performance and planning

Core Responsibilities:

  • Set out comprehensive and standardized GL controls procedures on reconciliations and Balance-Sheet substantiation.
  • Serve as a contact point to Account Owners t advice on the interpretation and implementation of Financial Control Policy.
  • Assigning Account Ownership where Finance is the final decisive authority to determine Cost Centre / Account Ownership.
  • Maintain a strong and robust GL controls and reconciliation environment.
  • Promoting a stronger controls environment around the GL and minimization of financial controls risk.
  • It is also responsible for ensuring the completeness of the GL.
  • Escalate control weaknesses, including areas of concern / exposure.
  • Follow up with department and branches on control items
